Sooo...I'm back. Clearing out my messages slowly.
I wrote my exam on August 2. It's been almost three weeks. The waiting is killing me. I should get my results back at the end of the month? 4 to 6 weeks, they said.
There's some stuff and personal notes that I wanted to get together, but I find I just don't want to do it. I picked up my list this afternoon, just to put it back down. I guess I don't want to prepare if I didn't make it.
In other (more fun?) news, I just started watching Shitsuren Chocolatier with Matsumoto Jun. It's a little dark perhaps in the ideas with a guy going after a married woman, but humorous. Here's a preview, sorry, no captions.
Wondering too if anyone out there also likes Jun Miyake? Here's my favorite song by him.
That's about all that's going on in my life. I've been catching up with a multitude of things that I've been putting off since spring - dental appointments, vet appointments, windshield replacement. Hope everyone is doing well.

Cycling for Cancer
Hi everyone, this month I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
My goal is to ride 300km throughout June and I have been pedaling throughout the month to reach my target.
Why am I doing this? Because cancer is the largest killer of children from disease in Canada - 4 kids die every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So far I've raised $620 to fight kids' cancer - THANK YOU to all those who have generously supported my challenge.
Today is Kick Cancer's Butt Day, where ALL donations will be matched by a supporter of the charity up to $200K - sponsor me today and your donation will be MA
Fundraiser, where I've been, and art challenges
Hi everyone,
Sorry to have been missing for pretty much the whole month. Been away from art. Which makes me sad. And it's rainy, which also makes me kind of melancholy. aka, sad.
But on the good side, I did get to travel home to visit some family. Had a nice road trip. And the weather was pretty nice.
Honestly, I have been busy, the sad thing is, I didn't even write May down in my list of Art Challenges for the year! It's like I knew I wouldn't be able to do anything this month.
I'm also participating in a fundraiser for children fighting cancer.
During June I will be riding my bike, my goal is 150km. If I get some more sponsors I
Coloring Contest - Winners
I am happy to announce that I went through the entries and have picked the winners for my coloring contest.
It was kind of difficult, especially with several different drawings to choose from.

Happy New Year!
Hooray for 2016!
New beginnings...new challenges...new resolutions that are created to be broken completed! :dummy:
So, my challenges for the year, aka resolutions are:
1) Each month I will draw/paint a person, to keep up the improvements in drawing/painting people.
Hopefully I will have something that I can share with you! (i.e. I'm not posting my failures, of which I already have one!)
2) Each month I will complete an old WIP, of which I have many.
Seeing this photo makes me sad! Very sad! And I've added to the pile since then!
What challenges are you undertaking for the year? Let's get them done! :hurry:
